Splurge-Worthy Items I’d Buy Again

There are a few pieces I’ve splurged on that I can confidently say were 100% worth it. They’ve not only stood the test of time, but I’ve worn them over and over. Here’s a look at my favorite splurge-worthy items that I would buy again.

Splurging on something can feel like a big decision, especially when you’re wondering whether it’ll be worth the investment. Over the years, I’ve made a few splurges that have proven to be timeless, durable, and surprisingly versatile—items that not only elevate my wardrobe but have lasted through so many uses. If you’ve been on the fence about splurging, here’s a list of splurge-worthy items!

Splurge Worthy Items

1. Omnilux mask. I’ve been wanting a red light mask for the last few years, and actually bought a cheap one about two years ago, but it wasn’t comfortable to wear and had to be plugged in, and wasn’t very strong, so I finally splurged on this omnilux mask after hearing amazing things about it. I’ve haven’t been fully consistent about using it since I got it six months ago, but have definitely noticed a difference when I am consistent! I also love that it’s flexible so it’s comfortable to wear, and it has a connected charger so it doesn’t need to be plugged into the wall while you use.

2. Rhode Lulani dress. This dress is from a brand that has recently gone out of business, but it’s still available at a few other retailers and happily on major sale! I saw this dress a few years ago and instantly fell in love – it has such a gorgeous shape, and comes in a bunch of amazing prints and colors. I know own three of them, and I am fully obsessed. Yes, they’re a huge splurge, but this is a dress I can wear for years for any kind of special occasion and I always feel AMAZING when I put it on. I wear a size 2 and it fits perfectly — not too tight, but just right.

3. Spanx set. I’ve tried and really liked a lot of dupes for the spanx set, because I know some people can’t splurge on the Spanx set, but truly I’ve never found any lounge set with as good of fabric as this one. I wear a size small in the top and bottoms, and I have and love the sweatshirt and the half zip tops and I swap depending on my mood. Code MERRICKXSPANX works for 15% off!

4. Quince Crescent Bag. I bought my first Quince bag late last year and instantly fell in love! The size is so perfect, it comes with a shorter and longer strap so it’s super versatile, and it literally holds everything. I have the taupe color and it’s a great dressy bag that can also get dressed down. This one isn’t a crazy splurge, but is worth every penny.

5. Christian Louboutin classic pumps. I tried multiple nude pumps over the years until I finally splurged on these (actually my husband splurged on them for me as a gift). They are tremendous. So comfortable, perfect height of heel, and the perfect nude color. These go with EVERYTHING and make any outfit look so chic. Also I’m obsessed with the red soles.

6. Budha Girl Bracelets. My friend, Lisa, introduced me to these bracelets years ago, and I finally splurged on a pair after trying a few dupes and they just looked and felt cheap. These are flexible bangles that are rubberized so they’re super comfy and they make no noise on your wrists. I had bangles that are super noisy on your arm. I wear a size small.

7. Edited pieces beltI’ve tried a lot of belts over the years, and these are the belts that I wear the very most. They come in a regular size and a mini size, and I have and love both. They are double sided, and the most clever design that doesn’t leave a flap hanging off your hip. If you’re looking for a classy, classic belt that doesn’t have a big brand logo on the front, I recommend these so so much. I wear a size small.

I think my next splurge item is THIS BAG…it’s fun and so summery, and perfect for our trip to Europe this month!
