Time for this week’s dinner ideas! This week has some very simple meals that I left for my father-in-law to make while watching the boys.
Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas
Time for this week’s dinner ideas! Philip and I were traveling this week and my father-in-law came to watch the boys, so I left him some super easy things to make. I won’t have links to everything, because they really were just simple things!
Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:
I’m going to add this little overview every week so you can see our true full weekly menu to get dinner ideas.
Monday: Wild Rice Soup
Tuesday: Kodiak Cakes, Eggs, and Bacon
Wednesday: Roast Beef Sandwiches with au Jus
Thursday: Leftovers – we had a few leftovers when we left on Monday so this made dinner super easy one night and helped clear out the fridge.
Friday: Pizza – we always make pizza on Fridays, but we had him order pizza from a local place.
Saturday: Out to Eat – my father in law always likes to take the kids out at least once. Saturday evening was a great time to do that!
Sunday: Chicken Alfredo, Broccoli, and Bread
Wild Rice Soup
My father-in-law is in town this week to watch our kids while Philip and I went to New York, so I made soup for all of us on Monday, and then he was in charge of all the other meals for the week.
Kodiak Cakes, Eggs and Bacon
I made a super simple menu for my father in law so it wasn’t much work for him and the kids would eat it. Pancakes are always an easy idea and Kodiak cakes mix makes it even easier.
Roast Beef Sandwiches and Au Jus
Whenever I make roast beef sandwiches I cook a roast in the crockpot all day. But to make it easier for my father-in-law, I bought sliced roast beef and just had him toast some rolls with provolone cheese, and cook some au jus from a packet.
Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli and Crusty Bread
I bought pre-cooked chicken and jarred Alfredo sauce so it was super easy for my father-in-law to make!
