Fringe is everywhere this season and it’s such a fun, textural element to add to your clothing and accessories. I’ve been itching to do a fringe DIY, and when I stumbled upon these fringe heels at Nordstrom a month or two ago, I knew I had to try my hand at making a pair.
I created a quick little video to show you just how to make yourself a pair. They’re such a perfect statement shoe that would be fun to wear for date night with a pair of jeans and a blouse like I did here, or for girls night with a basic dress like this or this one. I used this pair of heels for my project, but you can use any heel with a toe and ankle strap.

ALSO! The Nordstrom Anniversary sale opens to the public today! The selection is so good, and the deals are amazing. I shared all of my favorites in this post, but I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites below, including some of the pieces I’ve purchased and am loving. Everything below is under $100, and MOST are under $50.

Wow Merrick! Once again, a great DIY I now want to try.
What a fun DIY! I’ll keep this on the backburner when I have the time for a project 🙂

Does this shirt run true to size? I’m 5’3 like my shirts baggy but not too baggy. Would x-small be good or would that run fitted?
I’m wearing a XS — if you’re around my same size (even if you are a few inches shorter) then definitely go with an XS
That is a good DIY
