Time for this week’s dinner ideas! It was a busy week with the boys last week of school before break, but we had some great meals.

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! We made time for some favorite meals during this really busy work and school week. We are definitely ready for Christmas break!

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

I’m going to add this little overview every week so you can see our true full weekly menu to get dinner ideas.

Monday: Wonton Soup

Tuesday: Crockpot Bolognese

Wednesday: Baked Chicken Thighs and Dirty Rice

Thursday: Leftovers

Friday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

Saturday: Out to Eat

Sunday: Pot Roast

Sunday Dessert: Pizookie and Ice Cream

Wonton Soup

I made a super good wonton soup a couple of months ago. This week we tried a new recipe and it was delicious. It was more of a noodle soup with wontons in it, and fun to mix it up with shrimp and scallops in there.

Crockpot Bolognese

I love a good crockpot recipe, and this one was delicious. Easy, and filled with lots of hidden veggies.

Crispy Baked Chicken Thighs and Dirty Rice

I’ve been meaning to make these the last couple of weeks, but finally got around to it this week. They were super easy to put together, and then I had time while they cooked to make the more time-intensive dirty rice.

BBQ Chicken Pizzas

Again, our old faithful. I literally make this kind of pizza every week. My family loves it! I do grilled chicken, jalapeños, corn, fiesta blend cheese, and bbq sauce. We always top with crispy onions and it’s delicious.

Pot Roast

I haven’t made a roast for Sunday dinner in a while! I kind of make up my own recipe every time, just throwing veggies in and adding beef broth. But Pioneer Woman’s version looks amazing.

Pizookie

Have you ever had a pizookie? It’s a giant cookie with ice cream on top, and trust me it’s delicious. I used our favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and cooked for 20 minutes at 350. It was perfectly crisp on the outside and still gooey in the middle.
