A few weeks ago we headed down to Carlsbad for a little staycation at the Cape Rey Carlsband hotel. It’s directly across the street from the beach, has a gorgeous pool, delicious restaurant and so many other great amenities. I picked up this top right before our trip for only $14 here. It’s a perfect dress up or dress down kind of tee. I dressed it up a bit with my favorite suede jacket here.

I wore this dusty blue dress for dinner at Chandler’s restaurant at the Cape Rey. I love this color for spring, and the fabric on this dress is so lightweight and comfortable. For dinner, I paired it with some heeled ankle boots, which was a more comfortable and kid friendly alternative to heels.

I usually stick to more subdued colors, but when it’s Valentine’s Day it’s fun to toss in a bright outfit. This flowy pink skirt here is so girlie and feminine! Similar pleated skirt here in purple.

This eyelet top is such a perfect spring staple (find another similar one here). I wore it for Valentine’s Day dinner at home and paired it with blush flats for a little pop of pink. Similar flats here in nude as well!
